Field Trips to the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research (IALR) are a wonderful way to gain further understanding of, and experience firsthand, the advances and innovations that are being produced at IALR.
Visitors will not only learn about the research taking place at IALR, but also about the impact it has on the region's economic development.
Field Trips can be customized to fit the interests and needs of various groups and organizations. Please visit our website's Applied Research section if you are interested in learning more about what fields our research facilities support. Depending upon availability, IALR visitors will tour our laboratories and greenhouse, speak with researchers, and participate in a hands-on science activity.

To ensure that your visit to IALR is as informative as possible, please contact us with as much advanced notice as possible. If you are wishing to bring a larger group to IALR, a classroom or girl/boy scout troop for example, please make every effort to make contact at least one month in advance. One of IALR's program coordinators will work with you to fine tune a program to meet your student's grade level(s) and needs.
