Ellen Bass manages the sales and marketing for the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research (IALR) Conference Center in an effort to support the overall mission of IALR. She also assists in overseeing events and the catering activities. Bass came to IALR in the fall of 2004 after a sales career in the apparel industry. She has served on the board of the Boys and Girls Club of Danville and the Danville Pittsylvania County Chamber of Commerce’s Tourism Committee. Bass is a graduate of the Danville Pittsylvania County Chamber’s Leadership Southside Program. She attended Danville Community College and holds an associate degree in business management.
