Karen Hardy

Karen Hardy is currently the Assistant Director for ATDM Career Services for the Accelerated Training in Defense Manufacturing (ATDM) program at the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research (IALR). She is responsible for fostering relationships in the defense industrial base and providing oversight of the job placement efforts. Karen has been with the ATDM program since October 2020. Prior to employment at IALR, Karen served in management roles in the manufacturing industry as well as the speech and occupational therapy sector. She graduated from the University of Richmond with a Bachelor’s in Liberal Arts and is pursuing an MBA from Longwood University.
