Matthew Walker

With nearly a decade of experience in the welding industry, Matthew Walker has spent most of his career working in the nuclear sector at Orano, building containers to transport and store nuclear materials safely. He worked in both the fabrication shop, building dry cask storage canisters, and welding those canisters in the field at nuclear power plants after they were loaded with spent nuclear fuel rods. Walker holds a Welding Certification from Rockingham Community College and a Welding Diploma from Guilford Technical Community College. He looks forward to teaching future generations of welders and fabricators the skills he has learned throughout his career.
